Logistical Considerations

I would like to take a minute and offer a brief explaination of tomorrow in the interests of planning.

1. The Washington D.C. portion will begin as soon as possible that morning. The Mall should open at 7:00 EST, although we hope to be broadcasting from DC before that, we will shut down to move into the mall.

2. The actual SHS Inaugural Project show will begin at 8:00. Videos from this show can be accessed on demand at the following link or by clicking on the "Student Produced Video" link in the blog

Teachers may find these short videos of interest

3. Posting:

The Washington DC students will make every effort to answer postings, this will become more difficult as the crowd gathers. Please keep in mind that all predictions call for a record crowd and jammed networks, we will broadcast and post as long as we are able to.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education will do their best to keep up with the comments.

  29. This is quite a monumental day in the history of the United States of America. As I watched Obama's speech, I could do nothing but stare in awe. His hope and courage have inspired America to make a major change to itself. In the process, he has created a new era for America; one of peace, love, prosperity, liberty, and brotherhood. Today's events were truly inspiring.

What's your schedule look like for the rest of the week?
Will you be meeting the new president??
If so what will you ask him?
What's the first thing you think he'll "change"?
